Our office is on Pratumnak, the hill between Pattaya and Jomtien, so if you're staying in Jomtien you're only a short ride from picking up a scooter. Here's how it works and where a bike will take you.

Why a scooter makes sense in Jomtien
Jomtien is spread out along a long beach road, with condos, hotels and restaurants stretching south towards Na Jomtien. Baht buses cover the main roads, but once you're heading into the sois, up to Pratumnak or out of town, a scooter is simply the easiest way around.
Plenty of long-stay visitors in Jomtien rent by the month: one bike for the whole stay, a lower rate than paying daily, and no waiting around for a ride to the shops or the beach.
Picking up from our Pratumnak office
We don't deliver bikes, so all rentals are collected and returned at our Pratumnak office. From Jomtien it's a quick Bolt or Grab ride, or a baht bus towards Pattaya.
When you arrive, bring your original passport and a valid driving licence to show us, plus the 1,000 baht cash deposit. We don't keep your passport. We'll check the bike over with you, adjust it, and you'll ride away with two helmets and the compulsory government insurance (Po Lo Bo) included.
We're open 9am - 5pm every day, including weekends and public holidays.
Which bike suits Jomtien
- Yamaha GT 125 - light and easy for short hops along the beach road, to the supermarket or out for dinner. A good pick if it's your first time on a scooter in Thailand.
- Yamaha Nmax and Honda PCX - more comfortable for two people and for longer rides south along the coast. Our two most popular models with long-stay riders.
- Yamaha Aerox - the same 155cc performance as the Nmax with sportier styling.
Where to ride from Jomtien
- Pratumnak Hill - the Big Buddha temple (Wat Phra Yai) and the viewpoints over Pattaya Bay are just up the road.
- Na Jomtien - quieter beaches further south along the coast.
- Bang Saray - a fishing village with seafood restaurants on the water, an easy half-day ride south.
- Khao Chi Chan - the giant Buddha image carved into the cliff, inland from Na Jomtien.
- Central Pattaya - Walking Street, Beach Road and the big shopping centres are a short ride north over the hill.
Riding tips for Jomtien
Jomtien Beach Road is busy in the evenings, with baht buses stopping often to pick up passengers, so leave plenty of space. Parking rules vary by building, so check with your condo or hotel where scooters can be left.
Make sure your licence covers motorcycles and always wear a helmet - Pattaya police run regular roadside checkpoints. Our motorbike licence guide explains what you need.

Every bike comes with the compulsory government insurance (Po Lo Bo), which covers basic medical costs. It doesn't cover damage to the bike, so we recommend travel insurance that covers motorbike riding.
What are your opening hours?
9am - 5pm every day, 365 days a year. Pickups and returns are during office hours.
